LET'S DANCE!
All of our classes run in 4 week sessions and our classes are part of the world renowned
World Mastery curriculum.
For our 4 week sessions, each session consists of 1 class weekly, for an hour and half, for 4 weeks. We focus on intensive technique, footwork patterns, musicality, turns and spins within each level that includes the material covered in that session as well as in prior sessions. Each level concentrates on a family of steps and patterns and the focus during that level training is on that particular family of steps and patterns creating more retention and continuity in your dancing. No partner necessary.
Single class registration is also now available so you can do the classes that fit your schedule! For single class registrations, we will put you in the level you should be in for that class.

Because we are the Premier professional academy in MN offering training for ALL skill levels from brand new dancers to those who wish to one day be a pro! We have the professional background and dance education to bring you the best of the best training and our instructors NEVER stop growing! Our instructors are trained by our Director, Cassandra de Mercedes, who has taught worldwide and began dancing professionally at the age of 13, among other World Class Pros's that she brings in to train our team. Our training is never ending! With our World Class Curriculum based on both the Martial arts system and our World Mastery Curriculum, we take you step by step (Pun Intended!) through your journey in Latin Dance and have a blast doing so!
You become a part of this amazing dance family and we create amazing memories!
Single class registration is also now available so you can do the classes that fit your schedule! For single class registrations, we will put you in the level you should be in for that class.
Because our curriculum is highly detail oriented and progressive, we ask that you try to make every class in the 4 week session. If you miss a class, please review the videos from the missed class or schedule a private lesson so you dont miss what we did that week. We are not able to offer make-up classes.
Before our students move up to the next level, we do an assessment to ensure you feel comfortable and are solid in what has been taught in the session. The more advanced you become, it is quite common to want to repeat a session as the moves and patterns become more complex. This is a GOOD thing!
**We are working on creating our video library of every single class in every single level! Once our videos are done, you will have access to all classes that you have done so you can go back and review! Please make sure to create your account on our site so that you can access all videos, once they are done. We are SO EXCITED to bring you our video library and stay tuned! We will be starting video recording soon!

Each class is $20.00 and once registered, just plan to come and learn and have a blast doing so!
**Please Note: Missed classes do not roll over to next session & we are unable to offer makeup classes for missed group classes.**
You are welcome to schedule a private lesson to make up what was missed in a group class.

Beginning Salsa levels i & ii
6:30- 8:00pm Central Time
This class is for the brand new dancer with little or no class experience or for the dancer who wants to revisit the foundations of Salsa! If you have always wanted to learn Salsa, then THIS IS THE CLASS FOR YOU!! We will focus on the fundamentals of Salsa, basic steps, basic technique, dance floor etiquette, dance positions and more! Even if you have had classes in the past but want to brush up on the basics this class will definitely benefit you!! We start from SQUARE ONE and use a WORLD CLASS CURRICULUM that is UNMATCHED to create solid dancers that have their own style and charisma on the dance floor!!
Beginning bachata Levels i & ii
8:00 - 9:30pm Central Time
If you have always wanted to learn Bachata then your time has come! Straight from the streets of Santo Domingo we bring you the fundamentals, history and basics of this beautiful dance. We include body movement, which is extremely important in Bachata, as well as starting with the basic steps of Bachata. We will go over dance etiquette in Bachata Autenica, which is quite different than here in the USA and when dancing Bachata Moderna! We will incorporate a little Bachata Moderna which is basically a 'commercialized' form of Bachata that is widely danced here in the USA and around the world with the exception of the Dominican Republic, the home of Bachata! Go Figure! Dont worry! You will learn about that too! You will learn all about this dance and her rich culture as well as begin your journey into the world of Bachata!

Intermediate salsa!

This class is the Intermediate level class in our curriculum! If you have completed your levels I & II in Salsa, then this class is for YOU! We will continue to move forward in our Salsa Fundamentals adding more families of steps as we go. You MUST have done your Level assessment to be in this class and if you are coming to us from another academy, please contact us before registering so we can set up and assessment to make sure we have you in the right class! We start from where we left off and keep us moing forward in our journey with our WORLD CLASS CURRICULUM that is UNMATCHED to create solid dancers that have their own style and charisma on the dance floor!
Intermediate Bachata Footwork
8:00 - 9:30pm Central Time
This class is the Intermediate level class in our curriculum! If you have completed Levels I & II in Bachata then this class is for YOU! We will take our fundamentals and add them to various patterns that become more complex as we go forward. Your basics at this level should be second nature as we focus on patterns and footwork in this class. We start where we left off and keep us moving forward with our WORLD CLASS CURRICULUM that is UNMATCHED to create solid dancers that have their own style and charisma on the dance floor!

Beginning Bellly Dance

STARTING May 23rd 6:30 - 8pm
This 4 week class is session is for the brand new Belly Dancer! If you have always wanted to learn Belly Dancing then your time has finally come! Mercy Chaves will start from square one with the basic fundamentals of body movement, isolations, styling, weight placement and more. She will teach you to move with grace and elegance as you begin your journey into the world of Belly Dance!

"I love Cassandra's classes in so many ways that I'm sure I'll leave something out, but here are the reasons that come to mind immediately:
1) My husband and I spent several hundred dollars on a "Ballroom introductory package" at an unnamed Charlotte studio in 2009. The instructors were good, but the environment was so formal that it was hard to actually enjoy myself, and I quickly lost interest for that reason. NOT so with Cassandra and her classes. She keeps it casual, fun, and she has seemingly endless patience with those of us who are struggling with new steps.
2) Confession: I'm not a fan of exercise (especially cardio), but I love her classes. Who knew exercise and fun could occur simultaneously?! I'm not a ZX Fitness member, but if I ever decide to join a gym, it'll be ZX. The staff is great and they treat us wonderfully, regardless of our membership status.
3) I've met some truly wonderful people because of her classes.
3) Even my 17-year old daughter has developed an interest in Latin ballroom dancing since meeting Cassandra, and the classes are affordable enough that we can actually go on a regular basis. Admission- $5 per person; Wardrobe- $? (just dress comfortably); Quality time with your loved ones? Priceless.
